How to do a website search which doesn't have a custom search engine using Google.com

At times we come across websites which do not provide a search box. Doing a search for a specific term from a website archive becomes a very time consuming task. Even at times, you will not be able to find the appropriate search results using a regular search box that most websites have. But you can use google search to simplify and speed up your site search thus improving your efficiency.

You need to follow the following steps to perform a simple and effective site search :

1) Open the website that you want to search. For example, let me search for the keyword "Forex" in one of my websites "Finance and Trading Made Easy" . I will go to the website and copy the address of the site from the address bar.

Website URL : http://financeandtradingmadeeasy.blogspot.com/

2) Then go to Google homepage

3) In the search box you need to use "site:" as a prefix before website URL (no space in between) followed by the keyword "Forex" (space between URL and keyword) to get the desired results.

This is how you need to type the phrase in google search :

site:http://financeandtradingmadeeasy.blogspot.com/ forex

4) Check the attached screenshot below, notice how google displays only link related to my website and that too links with the keyword "Forex".
